NEW JLPT (from 2010 July)
(1) The New JPLT will be divided into 5 levels instead of 4 levels.
(2) JPLT will be held twice a year. (Respectively early July and early
December)
July 4th, 2010 - For N1, 2 and 3
December 4th, 2010 - For N1, 2, 3, 4 and 5
(3) The score weighting for Listening Module becomes higher, up from 25%
to around 33%.
(4) The score of both the Overall and Individual Module have to be higher
than the passing score. The details will be announced by 2010.
(5) Mock Examination Booklet
There will be no past paper published for the year of 2010 and 2011.
Until 2012, instead of past paper, a JPLT mock examination booklet will be published. The questions published in this booklet will be a mixture of the past paper questions extracted from JPLT 2010 /2011 while new designed questions will also be inserted. This mock examination booklet will carry the same format and have same amount of questions as in the actual JPLT. |

How to install Japanese Font (For Windows XP)
Control Panel → Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options → Add other languages
→ "Languages": Check "Install files for East Asian languages"
→ Apply (Windows XP System Disk may be required.) |
